Juicy Chocolate Cake with Jam
A chocolate cake that will delight both the young and the young at heart, as it is juicy, sweet, and melts in your mouth. The sponge cake, which contains no eggs, can be prepared in just a few minutes, and the glaze is equally simple. If you prefer less sweet cakes, you can omit the sugar in the sponge. The jam will provide enough sweetness.

200 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose

35 g Cocoa, powdered, unsweetened

30 g Walnuts

2.5 dl Yogurt, plain, from whole milk

1 dl Oil, vegetable oil, canola

300 g Marmalade, orange

100 g Sugar, white

100 g Butter, unsalted

100 g chocolate, dark

1 dl Milk, whole milk
Steps

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Line a baking dish, sized 30 x 20 centimeters, with baking paper.

In one bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, 20 grams of cocoa powder, baking soda, and ground nuts.

In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients: yogurt, oil, half of the jam, and sugar. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix well. Pour the prepared batter into the baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.

While the cake is baking, place butter, milk, broken chocolate, 15 grams of cocoa powder, and milk in a saucepan. Heat over low heat, stirring until the butter and chocolate are completely melted and all ingredients are well combined into a smooth chocolate glaze.

While the cake is still hot, poke it several times with a toothpick or fork. Spread the remaining jam on top and pour the chocolate glaze over it. Let it cool, then cut into squares.
