Ingredients
-
250 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour
-
70 g Cocoa, powdered, unsweetened
-
2 teaspoons Baking powder
-
2 pinch Salt, table
-
2 piece Egg, fresh
-
250 g Sugar, white
-
0.75 cups Oil, vegetable oil, canola
-
2 teaspoons Vanilla, extract, natural
-
1 cup Sour cream
-
1 cup Coffee, espresso
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Grease a rectangular baking pan (23 x 33 cm) with butter and dust with flour. You can also line it with baking paper.
-
In a bowl, sift the flour, cocoa, and baking powder. Add salt and mix the ingredients well.
-
In another bowl, mix the eggs, sour cream, oil, vanilla extract, and sugar. Add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture and mix well with a whisk or spatula until you get a thick but completely smooth batter without lumps. Finally, pour in the hot coffee and mix again to get a fairly thin batter.
-
Pour the batter into the baking pan and place it in the preheated oven for 25-35 minutes. The cake is done when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
-
Let the cake cool completely before serving. Optionally, you can spread it with chocolate ganache, chocolate glaze, or some other (chocolate) cream.
