Juicy Curd Pastry with Fruit

0.5 bags Baking powder

400 g cherries, compote

Steps

In a bowl, beat the eggs and whisk them well with a hand whisk. Add granulated sugar and vanilla sugar, curd, yogurt, sour cream, melted butter, and lemon zest, and mix everything well. Stir in the sifted mixture of flour and baking powder.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Grease a deep rectangular baking dish with butter and dust it with flour (remove any excess flour). Pour the curd mixture into the prepared dish and sprinkle the drained cherries over it. Bake the pastry in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes.

When the pastry turns a nice golden brown on top, it is done. Remove it from the oven and let it cool in the dish for at least 10 minutes before serving. The pastry is good warm or cold, and it is served cut into pieces and dusted with powdered sugar.

Advice
