Juicy Yeast Pastry
A great way to use up leftover yeast. Unlike yeast bread, this pastry can be prepared in just a few minutes. You can use any forest fruits or even grated apples, and each time the pastry will delight you with its softness and juiciness.

100 g Yeast, dry

50 ml Oil, vegetable oil, canola

Steps

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius and grease a baking dish measuring 30 by 20 centimeters. In a separate bowl, mix the wet ingredients: yeast, oil, sour cream, and eggs. Add both sugars and salt.

In another bowl, mix the flour and baking soda, then combine them with the wet ingredients.

Pour the mixture into the baking dish and sprinkle the chosen forest fruits or apples on top. Bake in the oven for 35 minutes, then let it cool and optionally dust with powdered sugar.
