Ingredients
-
pieces Butter, unsalted
-
115 g Butter, unsalted
-
60 g Cocoa, powdered, unsweetened
-
2 piece Egg, fresh
-
1 teaspoon Vanilla, extract, imitation
-
200 g Sugar, white
-
40 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
1 handful Walnuts
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius. Grease a square baking dish with a side of 20 cm with butter. Coarsely chop the walnuts.
-
In a small saucepan over low heat, slowly melt the butter and cocoa powder. Stir frequently while heating, and once you have a smooth chocolate mixture, remove the saucepan from the heat. Let the mixture cool slightly, then pour it into a larger bowl and gradually (one by one) mix in the eggs. Once all the eggs are mixed in, add the vanilla extract to the mixture.
-
In another bowl, mix the flour, sugar, walnuts, and salt. Pour this mixture into the bowl with the egg-cocoa mixture and stir well to form a uniform batter.
-
Pour the batter into the greased baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes. The brownies are done when the top is nicely baked, but the inside is still soft and moist.
-
Let the baked brownies cool. Once cooled, cut them into equal-sized pieces, serve on plates or a larger platter, and enjoy.
