Ingredients
-
600 g Meat, lamb, loaf
-
2 piece Lemon, fresh, without shell
-
8 pieces Artichoke
-
2 dl Water
-
1 piece Onion, raw
-
4 spoon Oil, vegetable oil, canola
-
1 spoon Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
0.5 l Water
-
3 pinch Salt, table
-
2 pinch Spices, pepper, black
Steps
-
Thoroughly wash the meat, dry it with kitchen towels, then cut it into equal-sized pieces. Cut the lemons in half and squeeze the juice. Rinse the artichokes under running water, remove the choke and the outer woody leaves, then trim the tips and cut them in half lengthwise.
-
Prepare a special bowl, pour in 2 dcl of water, and season it with half of the lemon juice. Soak the artichokes in the seasoned water. Peel the onion, wash it, and finely chop it. Place a pot on the stove and heat 4 tablespoons of oil. Quickly sauté the onion until it becomes translucent. Then add the meat and lightly fry it for about 5 minutes while stirring.
-
Sprinkle the meat with flour and season to taste with salt and pepper. Then mix it and pour in hot water. Add the drained artichokes, cover the pot, and cook on low heat for another half hour. Add more hot water if needed.
-
Five minutes before the end of cooking, uncover the pot, taste the dish, and season additionally with salt and pepper if needed. Remove the prepared dish from the heat and let it cool slightly, then add the other half of the lemon juice. Mix everything well, serve in deep bowls, and present to your guests.
