Layered Cheese Bread
Rich yeast dough, topped with a cheese spread, grated mozzarella, chopped parsley, and sprinkled with pieces of young onion. Folded into a baking dish in such a way that everyone can tear off a piece for themselves. It disappears in an instant.

Ingredients

1 piece Cheese, creamy

100 g Cheese, mozzarella

Yeast dough

400 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour

0.5 cubes Yeast, dry

1 spoon Sugar, white

1.5 dl Milk, whole milk

1 piece Egg, fresh

2 spoons Oil, vegetable oil, canola

1 teaspoon Salt, table
Steps

Sift the flour and make a well in the center, crumble the yeast into it. Warm the milk to lukewarm.

Add sugar to the yeast and pour the milk over it. Wait for about 5 minutes until the yeast starts to rise.

Add oil, salt, and an egg, and mix everything into a soft and smooth dough. If the dough sticks to your hands, add a little more flour.

Form the dough into a ball, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise until its volume doubles.

Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle about 1 cm thick, approximately 20 x 40 cm in size. First, spread the dough with the cheese spread, sprinkle with mozzarella, and then with chopped parsley and onion, sliced into rings.

Cut the topped dough into squares, about 10 x 10 cm in size. Stack the squares vertically in a baking dish, approximately 30 x 10 cm in size. Line the baking dish with parchment paper beforehand.

Cover the baking dish with a clean kitchen towel and let it rise for another 20 minutes.

Bake the layered bread for about 35 minutes in an oven preheated to 190 degrees Celsius.
