Ingredients
-
1 spoon Oil, vegetable oil, canola
-
350 g Meat, pork, ground
-
1 pod Garlic, fresh
-
1 pinch Spices, cumin, seeds
-
1 piece Onion, raw
-
2 piece Leek
-
1 l Soup base, chicken, cube
-
200 g Cheese, Brie
-
pieces Sweet cream

Steps
-
Clean the leeks, cut them in half lengthwise, wash them thoroughly, and slice them into approximately 0.5 cm wide strips. Peel the onion and garlic, and finely chop them separately.
-
Heat oil in a pot. Add the ground meat and cook until the pieces are lightly browned. Season the meat with salt, pepper, ground cumin, and garlic while cooking.
-
Once the meat is browned, add the onion and leeks to the pot. Cook the ingredients while stirring continuously for 3-4 minutes, then pour in the broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium and let the soup simmer for about 20 minutes or until the leeks are tender.
-
Cut the cheese into pieces and add it to the pot. Cook until the cheese is melted. Optionally, add a bit of sweet cream, and season the soup with additional salt and/or ground pepper if needed.
-
Serve the prepared soup in deep bowls or soup cups, and accompany it with a baguette or any other type of bread.
