1 piece Lemon, fresh, without shell

Thoroughly wash the lemon under running water, dry it with a paper towel, and grate for 1 teaspoon of lemon zest. Then cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice from both halves.

Sift the powdered sugar through a sieve into a larger bowl. Add the softened butter and lemon juice. Mix the ingredients well with an electric mixer or whisk. Add the grated zest to the mixture and mix until you get a smooth and fluffy consistency.

Advice
Instead of butter, you can also use margarine. The cream will be usable for up to 3 days if stored in the refrigerator in a sealed container. Instead of lemon, you can also use orange or lime. It is best to use organic citrus fruits whose peel is not treated with pesticides. If they are not available, immerse the fruit in boiling water for a few minutes and wipe it thoroughly to remove the wax, which contains toxins.
