Marbled Eggs
Easter eggs are usually prepared by dyeing the eggshell with various colors. This time, however, we will not dye the shell, but instead use a special technique with natural dyes to create an unusual pattern in the egg white, resembling marble or a spiderweb.

Ingredients
-
8 pieces Egg, fresh
-
750 ml Water
-
120 ml Soy sauce, shoyu
-
2 piece Spices, caraway, seeds
-
4 pieces Tea, cooked
Steps
-
First, hard-boil the eggs. Let the eggs cool in the water they were boiled in.
-
Once cooled, remove the eggs from the water and gently tap them all over with a wooden spoon or ladle to crack the shell. The more cracks there are, the finer the pattern on the egg will be later. Be careful not to break the shell completely.
-
Place a pot of water on the stove, add soy sauce, star anise, and tea bags. Cook the mixture over moderate heat until the tea releases its aroma and the liquid turns dark.
-
Reduce the heat and carefully place the eggs into the pot. Simmer them on low heat for about 2 hours. Then remove the pot from the heat and let the eggs rest for 8 hours before serving.
-
Peel the eggs before serving, then arrange them on a plate or platter and serve.
