Ingredients
-
4 pieces Bell pepper, red, fresh
-
2 pod Garlic, fresh
-
1 spoon Juice, lemon
-
3 spoons Oil, olive
-
3 pinch Salt, table
-
2 pinch Spices, pepper, black
-
6 twig Parsley, fresh
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Celsius. Wash the peppers, dry them thoroughly, and cut them in half lengthwise. Then remove the stems, membranes, and seeds. Arrange the pepper halves in a large shallow baking dish (cut side down).
-
Place the baking dish with the peppers in the hot oven and bake for about 15 minutes, until the skin becomes blistered and blackened in some spots. Soak a kitchen towel in cold water and wring it out well. Remove the baking dish from the oven and cover the peppers with the damp towel. Wait until the peppers cool enough to handle without burning yourself while peeling.
-
Peel the peppers by removing all the blistered and blackened skin. Then cut the peppers into 1 cm wide strips, and transfer them along with any juice that has drained out into a bowl.
-
Peel the garlic and slice it into pieces of your desired thickness. Scatter the garlic slices over the peppers. In a small bowl, mix the oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir until the salt dissolves. Pour the prepared marinade over the peppers. Let them marinate at room temperature for at least 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
-
Wash, dry, and chop the parsley. Arrange the marinated peppers on plates and sprinkle with the chopped parsley. Serve the prepared appetizer.
