Ingredients

1.2 kg Game meat, pheasant

0.5 cups Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose

First, prepare the marinade. Peel the garlic and onion, and chop them. Place both in a bowl, add rosemary, bay leaf, pepper, and pour in the wine.

Rinse the pheasant under running water and dry it with a paper towel. Then cut the meat into pieces and submerge it in the marinade. Leave it in the refrigerator overnight.

Take the meat pieces out of the marinade, dry them, season with salt, and coat them in flour. In a deep pan, melt butter and heat it. Place the meat tightly in the hot butter and quickly sear it on both sides. Pour the marinade into the pan, cover with a lid, and simmer the meat until tender for 50 minutes. Add a little water if needed.

Serve the braised meat on plates and accompany it with a piece of homemade bread or a glass of white wine.
