1 teaspoon Spices, pepper, black

1 twig Rosemary, fresh

Wash and sterilize the jar for marinating. Place the cheese on a wooden board and cut it into smaller cubes. Peel the garlic and cut it in half lengthwise. Thoroughly wash and dry the rosemary sprig.

Place the cheese cubes into the jar. Distribute the garlic and bay leaves among the cubes. Add pepper, rosemary, and pour olive oil over everything, ensuring it covers the cheese by about 1 cm. Close the jar immediately and place it in the refrigerator. Wait at least 4 days before serving the cheese to allow it to absorb the flavors well.

Advice
We use regular glass jars with a flawless screw-on lid. Remember, when storing hot food in jars, it is sufficient to thoroughly wash them beforehand. In all other cases, the jars must be sterilized first. We do this by placing the washed jars in a larger pot with boiling water. Cover the pot and let the water boil for about 5 more minutes. Then remove the pot from the stove and leave the jars in the hot water until use. The ingredients in the recipe are enough to prepare one jar of marinated cheese. You can also marinate feta cheese or soft goat cheese in the oil. Use cold-pressed olive oil, which is rich in vitamin E and is a natural antioxidant for food.
