Ingredients
-
125 ml Milk, whole milk
-
110 g Nuts, almonds
-
60 g Butter, unsalted
-
3 pieces Egg, fresh
-
150 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
150 g Pistachio
-
80 g Sugar, white
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
1.5 teaspoons Baking powder
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Place paper liners in the muffin tin. In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, ground pistachios, sugar, and baking powder.
-
In a small saucepan, gently heat the milk over low heat until lukewarm. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the butter and crumbled marzipan. Stir until the marzipan and butter are completely melted. Finally, whisk in the eggs with a hand whisk.
-
Pour the liquid mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix everything together with a spatula just until all the ingredients are well moistened.
-
Fill the muffin tin cavities three-quarters full with the prepared batter. Bake the muffins in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes. The muffins are done when they turn golden brown on the surface and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
-
Remove the muffin tin from the oven and let the muffins cool for 5 to 10 minutes. Then remove them from the tin, serve on a larger plate, and enjoy.
