Ingredients
-
500 g Dough, puff
-
400 g Meat, beef, ground
-
1 piece Onion, raw
-
1 piece Carrot, fresh
-
1 piece Green, raw
-
2 spoons Oil, vegetable oil, canola
-
0.5 teaspoons Salt, table
-
2 pinch Spices, pepper, black
-
1 piece Spices, bay (leaves)
-
1.5 dl Tomato, pieces - can
-
1.5 dl Water
-
4 spoon Cheese, Parmesan, grated
-
2 piece Egg, fresh
Steps
-
Peel the onion and clean and wash the leek. Finely chop both ingredients. Wash the carrot and peel if necessary, then cut it into smaller pieces. Place a pan on the stove, heat it up, and then add oil. Quickly sauté the onion until translucent, then add the leek and carrot. Stir and sauté for another 2 minutes.
-
Add the ground meat and cook until it changes color. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then add a bay leaf and tomato paste mixed with 1.5 dl of water. Wait for the liquid to boil, then cover the pan and simmer on low heat for an additional 15 minutes.
-
In a small bowl, beat the egg with a fork. Once the liquid boils, remove the pan from the heat and let the meat filling cool slightly. Remove the bay leaf. Then mix the beaten egg and Parmesan into the filling.
-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into 7 cm squares. Place about 1 heaped tablespoon of filling in the center of each square, then fold the pastry diagonally to form a triangle-shaped parcel. Seal the edges with a fork.
-
Beat another egg in a small bowl. Prepare a baking tray lined with baking paper. Arrange the triangles on the tray and brush them with the beaten egg. Place the tray in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, until the pastry turns golden brown.
-
Once the triangles are baked, arrange them on a serving platter and serve to your guests. They are also delicious when cold.

Advice
Puff pastry can be bought or prepared at home. The easiest way to thaw puff pastry is to leave it wrapped in the refrigerator overnight. If this is not possible, place the sheets of puff pastry on a plate side by side and let them thaw at room temperature for 30–60 minutes.
