Ingredients
-
350 g Dough, wonton
-
500 g Meat, beef, ground
-
1 piece Onion, raw
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
1 pinch Spices, pepper, black
-
40 g Butter, unsalted
-
1 dl Oil, plant, sunflower
Steps
-
Peel, wash, and finely chop the onion. Melt 20 g of butter in a pan, add the onion, and sauté for five minutes until it slightly yellows and becomes fragrant. Add the ground meat to the onion, season with salt and pepper. Cook it together with the onion until the meat is evenly browned on all sides. Then remove the meat from the heat.
-
Roll out the phyllo dough very thinly and cut it into several equal-sized rectangles. Grease a baking dish well with butter and layer it with a few sheets of dough, brushing each with a little oil. Place half of the ground meat on the dough and cover with a sheet of dough, brushing it with oil. Use the remaining ground meat and cover with the remaining sheets of dough. Brush the top layer of dough well with oil.
-
Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake the burek for 45 minutes. Once baked, cut it into four pieces and serve with yogurt.
