0.25 teaspoons Spices, oregano, dried
-
2 piece Egg, fresh

2 spoons Breadcrumbs, dried
-
40 g Tomato, concentrate

-
1 spoon Parsley, fresh
-
75 g Cheese, Parmesan, grated
Steps
-
Mix flour, egg, a large tablespoon of water, a pinch of salt, and a teaspoon of olive oil to form a smooth and pliable dough. Shape the dough into a ball, brush it with a few drops of oil, and let it rest for one hour.
-
Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil, adding 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Roll out the dough thinly on a floured surface and cut into rectangles measuring 10 x 7 cm. Once the water boils, cook the pasta rectangles for 2 minutes. Remove them with a slotted spoon and drain. Place the drained rectangles on a cloth that has been soaked in warm water and wrung out.
-
Preheat the oven to 220 °C. Grease a baking dish. Peel and chop the onion. Heat oil in a pan, add the ground meat, onion, and spices. Stir and cook until the meat browns and firms up. Remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture cool slightly, then add eggs, breadcrumbs, and tomato puree. Mix everything well with a spoon.
-
Spoon the filling onto the rectangles, roll them up, and place them side by side in the baking dish. Brush the tops with butter.
-
Bake the cannelloni in the preheated oven for 15 minutes until they develop a nice crust. Arrange the baked cannelloni on plates. Pour seasoned tomato sauce over them and sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley. Serve with a bowl of leafy salad.
