Ingredients
Filling
-
700 g Meat, beef, ground
-
2 spoons Oil, vegetable oil, canola
-
1 piece Onion, raw
-
2 pod Garlic, fresh
-
pieces Salt, table
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
3 spoons Sour cream
-
pieces Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
500 g Dough, puff
Posip
- 2 spoons Sesame seeds, dried
Premaz
- 1 piece Egg, fresh
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic separately. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onion until translucent. Add the garlic and cook for 1 to 2 minutes while stirring - just enough for the garlic to release its aroma. Remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
-
Place the ground meat in a large bowl. Add salt, pepper, the sautéed onion and garlic, egg, and sour cream. Mix well with clean hands to ensure the seasonings are evenly distributed. If the mixture is too wet, add a little flour.
-
Cut the thawed puff pastry in half. Roll out both halves on a lightly floured surface to the size of the baking dish. Line the baking dish with parchment paper.
-
Place one rolled-out piece of puff pastry in the baking dish and prick it several times with a fork. Spread the meat filling evenly over the pastry and cover it with the second piece of rolled-out pastry. Press the edges together firmly.
-
Make a few short cuts in the top layer of pastry with a knife, then brush it well with beaten egg. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the pastry. Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, until the pastry is puffed up and golden brown. Serve warm or cold.
