Meat Roll with Cheese

Ingredients

200 g Cheese, mozzarella

2 spoons Cheese, Parmesan, grated

2 spoons Oil, vegetable oil, canola
Steps

Prepare a large bowl, crack an egg into it, and whisk it well with a hand whisk. Add the ground meat and breadcrumbs. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and with wet hands, knead the mixture until the ingredients are well combined. In a separate bowl, grate the mozzarella, add parmesan, and mix both cheeses well.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Lay out aluminum foil on the work surface, grease it with oil, and spread the prepared meat mixture on it. Evenly sprinkle the meat with the cheese mixture. Using the foil, shape the meat into a roll. With wet hands, shape and slightly firm the roll, then wrap it in the foil.

Carefully transfer the roll to a medium-high baking dish and place it in the preheated oven on the middle rack. Bake for about 30 minutes, then turn the roll over and bake for another 30 minutes. Remove the baking dish from the oven, wait 10 minutes for the roll to cool slightly, then carefully remove the foil. Slice the roll into 1.5 cm thick slices and serve on plates. Offer with mashed potatoes and tomato sauce.
