Ingredients
-
650 g Meat, beef, thigh
-
5 pieces Chili peppers, red chili, fresh
-
200 g Peanuts, roasted in oil, unsalted
-
1 dl Oil, peanut
-
1 twig Rosemary, fresh
-
0.5 teaspoons Spices, paprika
-
1 piece Lime, fresh
-
1 spoon Sugar, brown
Steps
-
Thoroughly wash the meat under running water, dry it with a paper towel, and cut it into 2 cm cubes. Wash the chilies, clean them (remove the seeds!), and cut them into smaller pieces. Juice one lime. Crush 150 g of peanuts in a mortar. Wash a sprig of rosemary, shake it off, and pluck the leaves. Finely chop the leaves.
-
In a bowl, mix together the chilies, peanuts, peanut oil, lime juice, sugar, rosemary, and paprika. Add the cubed meat to the marinade and mix well so that the marinade coats the meat on all sides. Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator overnight.
-
The next day, take the meat out of the refrigerator and thread 4 pieces onto wooden or bamboo skewers. Prepare the grill and grease the grill grate with oil. Place the skewers on the well-heated grill and cook for about 10 minutes. Turn them several times during cooking to ensure the meat cooks evenly. You can baste them with the marinade while grilling.
-
Serve the grilled skewers on plates, drizzle with the remaining marinade, and sprinkle with peanuts.

The meat can be marinated for a shorter time (at least 1 hour). You can also use fewer chilies.
