Ingredients

200 g Bread, wheat

1 dl Milk, whole milk

25 g Butter, unsalted

120 g Onion, raw

3 pods Garlic, fresh

3 twigs Parsley, fresh

250 g Meat, beef, ground

250 g Meat, pork, ground

1 piece Egg, fresh

0.75 teaspoons Salt, table

2 pinch Spices, pepper, black

pieces Oil, plant, sunflower
Steps

Cut the bread rolls or bread into small cubes and soak them in milk. Peel the onion and garlic, then finely chop them. Wash and shake dry the parsley. Chop it coarsely.

Melt the butter in a pan. Sauté the onion in the heated fat until golden brown. Remove the pan from the heat and mix the sautéed onion with the chopped garlic and parsley.

In a large bowl, mix the pork and beef, soaked bread, onion, garlic, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. With wet hands, shape the mixture into small meatballs and place them on a plate.

Heat oil in a larger pan and fry the meatballs on both sides until golden brown. Place the cooked meatballs on paper towels to drain excess fat.

Serve the meatballs on plates and offer them with a side dish of your choice.

Advice
Instead of using two types of meat, you can use only beef and add a bit of marjoram.
