Ingredients
-
350 g Meat, beef, ground
-
1 piece Onion, raw
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
1 pod Garlic, fresh
-
1 piece Carrot, fresh
-
1 pinch Spices, pepper, black
-
2 pinch Salt, table
-
150 g Meat, pork, loaf
-
5 twig Rosemary, fresh
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 190 °C. Peel the garlic and onion, wash them, and finely chop. Wash the carrot, peel it, and grate it finely. Wash the rosemary sprigs under running water, shake them dry, and then cut them into 5 cm pieces.
-
In a bowl, mix the ground meat, egg, carrot, garlic, and onion. Season with salt and pepper and knead well. Then, with wet hands, shape the mixture into small meatballs. Place a piece of rosemary sprig on each meatball and wrap the meatballs with a slice of prosciutto.
-
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and arrange the prepared meatballs on it. Leave about a finger's width of space between them so they don't stick together while baking. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake the meatballs for 20 to 25 minutes until nicely browned. You can turn the meatballs several times during baking to ensure even browning.
-
Remove the baked meatballs from the oven and serve them warm.
