Steps

Cook the rice according to the instructions. Transfer the cooked rice to a larger bowl and let it cool.

Rinse the parsley and basil under running water, dry them, and set aside for later. Wash the cherry tomatoes and peppers. First, cut the peppers into thin strips, then into smaller pieces. Cut the cherry tomatoes into quarters. Peel the onion and chop it into smaller pieces. Open the can of tuna. Drain the tuna and break it into smaller pieces with a fork.

Once the rice has cooled, divide it into four salad bowls. Remove the herb leaves from the stems. Sprinkle the peppers and onion over the rice. Top everything with the tomato quarters, olives, and tuna pieces. Garnish the salad with basil and parsley leaves, and season to taste with lemon juice, olive oil, pepper, and salt. Serve the prepared salad.
