Meringue Cake with Cream and Berries

2 teaspoons Vinegar, apple

Steps

Preheat the oven to 100 degrees Celsius. Draw three circles on baking paper; the first circle should be 26 cm in diameter, the second 24 cm, and the third 22 cm. Place the baking paper on a low baking tray.

Beat the egg whites with salt using an electric mixer until stiff peaks form, then gradually (spoon by spoon) add the sugar. Finally, fold in the cornstarch and vinegar.

Fill the circles drawn on the baking paper with the meringue mixture. Spread the mixture roughly over the baking paper using a spoon. Press the mixture in the center of the smallest circle slightly with a spoon to form a hollow. Place the tray in the oven and dry the meringue discs in the oven for about 3 hours. Leave the oven door slightly ajar. After about 1 hour of drying, transfer the baking paper from the tray to a rack so that the meringue discs dry from the bottom as well.

Once the meringue discs are dried, remove them from the oven, transfer them to a rack, and let them cool. Clean the fruit and rinse it quickly under running water if necessary. Whip the sweet cream together with powdered sugar until stiff. Coarsely chop the pistachios.

Place the largest meringue disc on a serving plate and spread it with whipped cream, then top with some fruit. Cover with the medium-sized disc, spread it with whipped cream, and top with some fruit. Add the smallest disc, filling the hollow with cream. Top with the remaining fruit and chopped pistachios, and serve the prepared dessert.
