Mexican Fondue
Gathering with friends over good food is even more enjoyable. Fondue is ideal for such occasions, and its even better if we spice it up Mexican-style for a change.

Ingredients

170 g Cheese, Cheddar

250 g Cheese, groats

2 spoons Koruzni škrob

2.5 dl Alcohol, Beer

1 spoon Juice, lime

2 spoons Coriander, leaves, fresh

1 teaspoon Chili peppers, red chili, dried

Grate both types of cheese into a large bowl. Add cornstarch and mix very well so that all the cheese is coated with a thin layer of cornstarch.

Pour beer and lime juice into the fondue pot and place it on the stove over medium heat. Wait for the liquid to boil, then reduce the heat slightly.

Gradually add the cheese to the pot, one handful at a time. Stir continuously with a wooden spoon. Before adding a new handful of cheese, wait until the previous one has completely melted. Finally, stir in the chopped chili, remove the pot from the heat, and sprinkle with chopped cilantro leaves.

Place the fondue pot on the table on a fondue burner. Guests can serve themselves by using fondue forks to dip pieces of bread, tortillas, or nachos into the hot sauce.
