Pour a liter of water into a pot, add salt, and bring it to a boil. While stirring constantly, gradually add the cornmeal. Then reduce the heat and cook the polenta for about 40 minutes. Stir frequently to prevent lumps from forming.

Once the polenta is ready, mix in the butter, then remove the pot from the heat and cover it. Place a new pot with a liter of milk on the stove and remove it from the heat just before it boils. Pour the milk into deep earthenware bowls, add the polenta, and the dish is ready.

Advice
