1 l Milk, skimmed

330 g Rice, white, short grain

Thoroughly wash the lemon and grate about two tablespoons of lemon zest. Rinse the rice in a colander under running water until the water runs clear. Place a pot on the stove and pour in the milk. Wait for it to heat up.

Add a pinch of salt, the rice, and about 6 tablespoons of lukewarm water to the milk, and wait for it to come to a boil. Cover the pot. Cook the milk rice on low heat for about 20 minutes.

Once the rice is ready, remove the pot from the heat and let it cool for 10 minutes. Add honey to the slightly cooled rice and stir until the honey is evenly distributed. Prepare suitable glasses or bowls by rinsing them with cold water. Add the milk rice to the glasses or bowls and season with a pinch of lemon zest. Serve the prepared dish to your guests.
