Ingredients
-
500 ml Milk, whole milk
-
200 g Rice, white, short grain
-
2 spoons Sugar, white
-
1 bag Sugar, white
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
250 g Strawberries
-
1 spoon Powdered sugar
-
1 spoon Juice, lemon
-
150 ml Sweet cream
Steps
-
Place a pot on the stove and pour in the milk. Add the rice, sugar, and a pinch of salt, and cook everything slowly over low heat for about 25 minutes or until a thick porridge forms. Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool slightly, then place it in the refrigerator, covered, until completely cooled.
-
Wash the strawberries under running water, clean them, and cut them into pieces. Save a few pieces for decoration, and place the rest in a bowl. Sprinkle with sugar and pour over lemon juice. Mix well and blend into a fruit puree using a hand blender. Strain the strawberry puree through a fine sieve if desired.
-
Whip the cream until stiff and fold it into the cooled milk rice. Distribute the mixture into glasses. Finally, pour the strawberry puree over the dessert and decorate with the reserved strawberry pieces.
