Mint and Chocolate Ice Cream
The refreshing taste of mint in ice cream, combined with a chocolate topping, is a true flavor bomb. We recommend making the ice cream without using green food coloring. We offer both options, and the choice is yours.

Advice
Instead of mint flavoring, you can use fresh mint leaves. Wash a handful of leaves well and immerse them in the milk as it heats up. Leave them in the milk for 30 minutes, then remove the leaves from the milk. You can also use the leaves - before immersing them in the milk, chop them finely and leave them in the ice cream until the end of the process. This way, you get ice cream with mint leaves. If you dont have an ice cream maker, put the mixture in the freezer just long enough for it to slightly set but not freeze. Its best to pour the mixture into flat metal containers, which conduct heat best. Store the ice cream in the freezer in well-sealed containers to prevent it from absorbing other odors. Fill the ice cream makers container only two-thirds full, as the mixture expands during freezing. The mixing time in the ice cream maker depends on the quantity, additives, and temperature of the mixture. Ice cream that has been in the freezer for more than 12 hours should be placed in the refrigerator for 30 - 60 minutes before use.
