Muffins with Apple and Cottage Cheese
A great dessert that can be quickly prepared from ingredients that are usually always on hand. For a festive touch, you can also add a pinch of chosen spices (vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, ginger).

200 g Apple, fresh

1 piece Lemon, fresh, without shell

100 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose

1 bag Baking powder

250 g Cheese, cottage cheese

150 ml Yogurt, plain, from whole milk

100 g Sugar, white

2 piece Egg, fresh

50 g Butter, unsalted

Steps

Grate the zest of a lemon and squeeze the juice. Peel the apple, cut it into pieces, and drizzle with lemon juice. Grease the muffin tin and place it in the freezer.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Mix the flour with baking powder. Combine the cottage cheese, yogurt, sugar, eggs, and softened butter well with a whisk. Mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and finally fold in the raisins and apples.

Fill the greased molds with the batter and bake the muffins in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Sprinkle the baked muffins with powdered sugar.
