Ingredients
Cream
-
225 g Powdered sugar
-
75 g Butter, unsalted
-
3 teaspoons Milk, whole milk
-
2 drops Powdered sugar
-
100 g chocolate, dark
-
250 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
2 teaspoons Baking powder
-
1.5 spoons Elderberry, flower, fresh
-
60 g Butter, unsalted
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
150 g Sour cream
-
200 ml Milk, whole milk
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Place paper liners in the muffin tin cavities.
-
Melt the butter in a cup and let it cool slightly. Chop the chocolate into smaller pieces. Sift the flour into a larger bowl, add the chocolate pieces, lavender flowers, baking powder, and a pinch of salt, and mix well. In a smaller bowl, whisk together the egg, sugar, milk, sour cream, and melted butter. Pour the mixture into the bowl with the flour and mix just enough to moisten all the ingredients.
-
Fill the muffin tin cavities three-quarters full with the batter. Place the tin in the preheated oven and bake in the middle rack for 25 minutes, until the muffins are golden brown. Remove the tin from the oven and let the muffins cool slightly.
-
Prepare the buttercream to decorate the muffins. Sift the powdered sugar into a larger bowl. Add softened butter, a drop of food coloring, and a teaspoon of milk. Use an electric mixer to blend the ingredients until creamy. Then, add the remaining milk drop by drop while continuously mixing to achieve a smooth and fluffy mixture.
-
Take the cooled muffins out of the tin and place them on a larger plate. Fill a piping bag with a star tip with the buttercream and decorate the muffins.

Advice
You can also use fresh lavender, which has a slightly more intense aroma and flavor, so be careful not to add too much. If you dont have paper liners at home, grease the muffin tin cavities and dust them with flour before baking. Take the butter out of the refrigerator at least one hour before use.
