Ingredients
-
600 g Bread, wheat
-
8 slice Cheese, groats
-
600 g Meat, beef, ground
-
0.5 spoons Oil, olive
-
100 g Meat, pork, smoked bacon
-
2 pod Garlic, fresh
-
250 g Mushrooms, mushrooms, fresh
-
pieces Salt, table
-
4 spoon Mayonnaise
Steps
-
Peel and finely chop the garlic. Clean the mushrooms and slice them. Cut the bacon into thin slices. Place the ground meat in a bowl and season it evenly while gently turning it. Divide it into four parts and shape them into thick, round patties with wet hands. The patties should be about 2 centimeters thick at the edges and 1 centimeter thick in the center.
-
Cook the beef patties on a preheated grill. The meat should be nicely seared on the outside but remain juicy inside. The cooking time depends on the desired level of doneness. For rare meat, cook the patty for 2 minutes on each side, for medium-rare 3 to 4 minutes, and for well-done 5 minutes. During the last minute of cooking, place the cheese slices on the patties to melt.
-
Heat oil in a pan and fry the bacon until crispy. Add the garlic and sauté for half a minute, then add the mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper and cook everything together for another 3 minutes while stirring.
-
Cut the burger buns in half. Spread mayonnaise or another sauce on the bottom halves, then layer them with cheese slices, patties, and the mushrooms with bacon. Cover with the top halves of the buns, gently press the burgers together, and serve.

Instead of ground beef, you can use various types of mixed ground meat for the patties: pork and beef, lamb and beef, pork and chicken.
