Nachos with Ground Meat, Beans, and Cheese
A popular Mexican dish with a super simple preparation. All we need to do is make a spicy ground meat sauce, which we layer with corn chips and grated cheese in a baking dish and bake in the oven until the cheese melts. A great snack for parties, gatherings with friends, and movie nights.

Ingredients

5 cup Chips, tortilla

pieces Oil, plant, sunflower

1 piece Onion, raw

500 g Meat, beef, ground

2 cans Tomato sauce, without salt

1 can Beans, grains, cooked

1 can Corn, yellow, in brine

200 g Cheese, Cheddar

pieces Spices, chili powder

Steps

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Prepare a larger baking dish (approximately 20 x 30 centimeters) and grease it with oil.

Peel the onion, finely chop it, and sauté it in heated oil until it becomes translucent and slightly soft. Add the ground meat and cook, stirring occasionally, until it breaks into pieces and turns slightly brown.

If necessary, drain excess fat from the pan, then add canned tomatoes. Mix well and season to taste with salt, ground chili, and coriander or cumin. Bring the sauce to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium and let it simmer until it thickens appropriately. Finally, stir in the beans, which have been rinsed under running water and drained.

Spread the tortilla chips in the greased baking dish and sprinkle about 1/3 of the grated cheese over them. Spread the meat sauce over the top, then add the drained corn. Finally, sprinkle the remaining grated cheese over the ingredients.

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese melts. Serve the dish warm. Optionally, top with chopped cilantro, green onions, sliced chili, and a little crushed tortilla chips. You can also drizzle with a bit of sour cream.
