Ingredients

150 g Sugar, white

1 bag Sugar, white

100 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose

50 g Koruzni škrob

1 teaspoon Baking powder

200 g Chocolate spread, with hazelnuts
Steps

In a small bowl, mix regular sugar and vanilla sugar. In a larger bowl, mix flour with cornstarch and baking powder. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Line a low baking tray (approximately 30 x 40 cm) with baking paper.

In a bowl with an electric mixer, beat eggs and water on the highest speed for 1 minute. Slowly add sugar to the egg mixture while beating. Beat for another 2 minutes. Then sift half of the flour, cornstarch, and baking powder mixture onto the egg mixture and briefly mix on the lowest speed. Repeat the process with the other half.

Pour the batter onto the prepared baking tray and spread it evenly with a spatula. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes on the middle rack.

Immediately flip the baked sponge onto a damp (and wrung out) cloth sprinkled with sugar. Carefully but quickly remove the baking paper. Roll the sponge with the cloth. Let the sponge cool.

Unroll the cooled sponge, spread it evenly with Nutella, and roll it up again. Serve the roll on a rectangular plate, cut into slices of desired thickness, and enjoy.
