Ingredients
Baked pear
-
1 piece Pear, fresh
-
1 spoon Honey
-
1 teaspoon Juice, lemon
-
1 pinch Spices, cinnamon, ground
-
pieces Butter, unsalted
-
45 g Oat bran, raw
-
250 ml Milk, whole milk
-
120 ml Water
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
pieces Vanilla, extract, imitation
-
1 spoon Walnuts
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius. Wash the pear and cut it in half lengthwise. Remove the core with a spoon, then place the halves in a baking dish (cut side up), drizzle with lemon juice and honey, season with cinnamon, and top with pieces of butter. Bake the pear in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, basting it several times with the sauce that forms in the dish.
-
While the pear is baking, mix the oats, milk, and water in a saucepan. Season with a pinch of cinnamon, and optionally add a few drops of vanilla extract. Place the saucepan on the stove and cook the oats over low heat for 8 to 10 minutes until they soften and form a thick, porridge-like mixture. Add more liquid (water or milk) if needed.
-
Serve the oatmeal and baked pear in a bowl. Drizzle everything with honey and the sauce that accumulated in the baking dish, sprinkle with chopped walnuts, and serve the prepared dish.
