Oatmeal with Banana

Ingredients

500 ml Water

250 ml Milk, whole milk

160 g Oat bran, raw

1 pinch Salt, table

1 piece Banana, fresh

4 spoon Honey

Place a pot with milk and water on medium heat. When small bubbles start to form at the edge of the liquid (just before it boils), add the oats and salt to the pot. Stir with a wooden spoon. When bubbles start to form again at the edge, reduce the heat and cook the oats in the covered pot for another 8 to 10 minutes.

Divide the cooked oatmeal into bowls or deep plates. Peel the banana and slice it into rounds, then arrange them on top of the oatmeal. Finally, add a spoonful of honey to each bowl, drizzling it over the oatmeal.
