Oatmeal with Cinnamon and Fried Apples

Ingredients

250 ml Water

200 ml Milk, skimmed

100 g Oat bran, raw

1 spoon Sugar, brown

0.25 teaspoons Spices, cinnamon, ground

1 pinch Salt, table

20 g Butter, unsalted

1 piece Apple, fresh

1 spoon Honey
Steps

First, prepare the oatmeal. Pour water and milk into a pot. Add the oats, cinnamon, sugar, and salt, mix well, and place on the stove. Bring to a boil while stirring occasionally, then reduce the heat and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Once the oats soften and you get a thick mixture, remove the pot from the heat.

Peel the apples and cut them into quarters. Remove the stems and cores, then slice the quarters into thin slices (or chunks).

Melt the butter in a pan and quickly fry the apple slices in it. Drizzle the fried apples with honey, mix well, and remove from the heat.

Serve the oatmeal in bowls. Add a few fried apple slices to each bowl and serve the dish immediately.

Advice
