Ingredients
-
30 g Walnuts
-
1 spoon Honey
-
7.2 dl Water
-
200 g Flour, oat
-
1 teaspoon Salt, table
-
2.4 dl Juice, apple
-
1 piece Apple, fresh
-
50 g Sugar, brown
-
40 g Raisins
-
0.5 teaspoons Spices, cinnamon, ground
Steps
-
Place the walnuts in a small skillet with a thick bottom. Place the skillet over medium heat. Toast the walnuts while shaking the skillet for about 3 minutes. Then drizzle them with honey and stir until the honey thickens and evenly coats the walnut pieces. Remove from heat and continue stirring until the mixture separates from the skillet.
-
Wash the apple, cut it into quarters, remove the core, and grate it. Sort the raisins, wash them, and drain. Pour water into a deep skillet with a thick bottom, place it on the stove, and wait for the water to boil. Add the oatmeal and salt, and stir until the oats soften, which takes about 5 minutes.
-
Add apple juice, grated apple, sugar, raisins, and cinnamon to the oatmeal and mix well. Reduce the heat, cover the skillet, and cook the oatmeal until the apple is completely softened, which takes about 5 minutes.
-
Divide the oatmeal into 4 bowls and sprinkle with honey-coated walnuts. Optionally, sprinkle a few more raisins on top. Serve.
