A very tasty dish that requires only one pot and a few simple, everyday ingredients. If you are a fan of more exotic flavors, you can use cumin and allspice in addition to salt, pepper, and paprika for seasoning. The original recipe for this dish comes from Turkey, where ground cumin and allspice are common and very popular spices, and potato stew with ground meat is considered one of the most popular home-cooked meals.

Ingredients
-
3 spoons Oil, olive
-
1 piece Onion, raw
-
450 g Meat, beef, ground
-
2 spoons Tomato, concentrate
-
2 pod Garlic, fresh
-
8 pieces Potatoes, white
-
pieces Spices, paprika
-
pieces Water
-
pieces Salt, table
Steps
-
Peel the onion and garlic, then finely chop them separately. Peel the potatoes, wash them, and cut them into pieces.
-
Place a larger pot on the stove and heat olive oil in it. Sauté the chopped onion until translucent. Add the ground meat and cook, stirring occasionally, until the meat pieces are lightly browned. Season the meat with salt and ground pepper while cooking.
-
Add tomato paste and garlic to the pot. Cook everything together, stirring, for another 1-2 minutes, then add the potatoes and paprika. Quickly mix everything together, then pour in water. Use a spatula to scrape the bottom of the pot to release any caramelized bits that formed during cooking. There should be just enough water to barely cover the potatoes.
-
Wait for the liquid to come to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover the pot, and let the stew simmer gently for 30-40 minutes until the potatoes are completely tender. Season the stew to taste with salt and ground pepper, and add any other desired spices (thyme, marjoram, ground cumin, allspice, etc.).
