Ingredients
-
250 g Cheese, cottage cheese
-
200 ml Sour cream
-
1 pinch Spices, pepper, black
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
3 pieces Onion, raw
-
150 g Meat, pork, smoked bacon
-
1 spoon Oil, vegetable oil, canola
Yeast dough
-
375 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
2 dl Water
-
1 bag Yeast, dry
-
1 teaspoon Sugar, white
-
1 teaspoon Salt, table
-
3 spoons Oil, vegetable oil, canola
Steps
-
Sift the flour onto a clean work surface and make a well in the center. Sprinkle salt around the well. Pour water into the well and add sugar and yeast. Mix the ingredients in the well well with a fork. Add the oil and slowly start mixing all the ingredients. Once all are mixed, start kneading the dough. If the dough is too dry, add a little more water; if it is too sticky, you can sprinkle a little more flour. Knead the dough until it is elastic, soft, and not sticky. Shape it into a loaf, place it in a greased bowl, and cover it with a cloth. Let the dough rise in a warm place until the loaf has doubled in size.
-
Peel the onion, cut it in half, and slice all halves into thin slices. Cut the bacon into cubes. In a bowl, mash the cottage cheese with a fork and mix it with cream. Season it with pepper and salt to taste. Take the risen dough out of the bowl and quickly knead it on a lightly floured work surface.
-
Grease a large baking dish well. Place the kneaded dough on the greased baking dish and stretch it with your hands to the edges of the dish. Evenly spread the dough with the cottage cheese and cream mixture and top it with onion and bacon. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven for about 15 to 20 minutes.
-
When the bread is baked, take it out of the oven, season it with freshly ground pepper, cut it into pieces of any size, and serve.
