Oven-Baked Salmon with Cucumbers
If you avoid eating salmon because youre afraid of overcooking or even burning the delicate fish in a pan, try baking it in the oven instead. The meat will be perfectly cooked and juicy, and youll have enough time to clean the kitchen and prepare a side dish. We suggest boiled potatoes, potato salad, or even couscous with vegetables.

Ingredients
-
700 g Fish, salmon
-
2 piece Sweet potato, unpeeled, fresh
-
pieces Salt, table
-
1 teaspoon Spices, pepper, red or cayenne
-
2 spoons Dill, fresh

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Wash the cucumber and slice it thinly. Rinse the salmon pieces and thoroughly dry them with paper towels. Run your fingers over the meat and use tweezers to remove any small bones. Lightly score the skin of the salmon in several places.

Line a baking dish with parchment paper and arrange the cucumber slices in a single layer (the slices should slightly overlap). Lightly season them with salt and pepper, then place the salmon pieces on top. The skin side should be facing down. Drizzle everything with olive oil and lime juice, then place it in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

Advice
Instead of cucumbers, you can use zucchini or fennel, and instead of lime, you can use lemon. Adjust the amount of pepper to your taste.
