Ingredients
-
pieces Butter, unsalted
-
150 g Butter, unsalted
-
300 g chocolate, dark
-
2 spoons Syrup, corn
-
1 spoon Alcohol, Whisky
-
100 g Breadcrumbs, dried
-
100 g Nuts, almonds
-
70 g Pistachio
-
pieces Sugar, white
-
1 handful Candied fruit
Steps
-
Lightly grease a smaller deep baking dish (approximately 12 x 24 cm) with butter, then line the bottom and sides of the dish with baking paper. It's best if the paper is 5 cm higher than the sides of the dish, as it will be easier to remove the cooled dessert from the dish.
-
Chop or break the chocolate into smaller pieces and place them in a cup. Add butter, syrup, and brandy to the cup. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring slowly until a smooth chocolate mixture forms. Remove the cup from the heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
-
Chop the almonds, pistachios, cherries, sugar cubes, and biscuits into small pieces. Place all the ingredients in a larger bowl, mix well, pour the cooled chocolate mixture over them, and mix thoroughly again.
-
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly with a spatula. Smooth the top and cover with a piece of baking paper. Store the dish in the refrigerator overnight to allow the dessert to cool and set properly.
-
The next day, remove the dish from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes to slightly warm the dessert. Then, cut the dessert into pieces of your desired size, serve on a plate or platter, and enjoy.

Advice
The addition of golden syrup and brandy can be completely omitted. Instead of almonds, you can use hazelnuts or walnuts as desired.
