Paleo Chocolate Mousse
The Paleo or Paleolithic diet advocates for eating as our ancestors did during the Paleolithic era. If we follow this way of eating today, we must eliminate sugar and artificial sweeteners, refined fats, gluten-containing foods, and all artificial additives from our diet. Here is a recipe for a dessert that, in addition to the above, is also prepared without eggs and dairy products.

- Number of Servings: 4
Ingredients
-
115 g chocolate, dark
-
1 can Coconut milk
-
110 g Honey
-
40 g Cocoa, powdered, unsweetened
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
1 spoon Vanilla, extract, natural
-
pieces Coconut, flakes
Steps
-
Chop the chocolate into pieces and place them in a bowl. Melt the chocolate slowly over a double boiler. Gently stir the melted chocolate and set it aside. Let it cool slightly.
-
Take the chilled can of coconut milk from the refrigerator (it should be stored in the fridge for at least 12 hours) and open it (be careful not to shake it!). Use a spoon to remove the solidified mixture and add it to a kitchen mixer or blender (use the liquid in another dish or discard it). Add honey, salt, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and the melted chocolate. Mix the ingredients well.
-
Once you have a thick and uniform chocolate mixture, stop mixing. Fill four glasses with the prepared mixture, cover them, and refrigerate for 3 hours. Before serving, garnish the mousse with coconut flakes or fresh fruit.
