Pancakes
Pancakes are small, slightly thicker, but very fluffy pancakes that can be savory or sweet. No special knowledge or tools are needed for preparation, just one bowl and a suitable pan. Sweet pancakes are usually eaten for breakfast and served with butter, fresh fruit, jam, and whipped cream.

Ingredients
-
185 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
1 teaspoon Baking powder
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
1 bag Sugar, white
-
150 ml Milk, whole milk
-
30 ml Butter, unsalted
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
2 spoons Butter, unsalted
Steps
-
In a bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add sugar and mix the ingredients well. Make a well in the center and add the egg, melted butter, and milk. Mix the ingredients with a whisk or hand mixer until you get a thick, smooth batter without lumps. Let the batter rest for 30 minutes before cooking.
-
Place a pan on the stove and heat it. Add a piece of butter and tilt the pan to coat it evenly. Stir the batter well with a small ladle, then pour about 20 ml of the batter into the pan to form a smaller, thicker pancake. If the pan is large enough, you can cook several pancakes at the same time. After about 2 minutes, the bottom of the pancakes will turn golden brown, and bubbles will start to appear on the top. Use a spatula to flip them and cook for another 1 to 1.5 minutes on the other side.
-
Stack the cooked pancakes on top of each other to keep them warm. Repeat the process until you run out of batter. Serve the pancakes while they are still warm.
