Ingredients
-
120 g Flour, Wheat, bread flour
-
0.25 teaspoons Salt, table
-
2 teaspoons Sugar, white
-
3 pieces Egg, fresh
-
1 spoon Oil, vegetable oil, canola
-
300 ml Water
Steps
-
In a bowl, sift the flour. Add salt and sugar, mix well, and make a well in the center. Add the beaten eggs and oil into the well. Pour in about a deciliter of water and start mixing the ingredients in the well with a hand whisk or mixer. While mixing, gradually incorporate the flour around the well. Mix until all the flour is incorporated (add a little more water if needed) and you get a smooth and thick mixture without lumps.
-
While mixing, gradually pour in the remaining water. The final batter should be runny but not watery. If it's too watery, add a bit more flour.
-
Let the prepared batter rest for 15 to 30 minutes before cooking, allowing the starch granules to swell in the liquid. Be sure to mix the batter well again before cooking the pancakes.
