Ingredients
-
4 pieces Parsnip, fresh
-
0.75 teaspoons Salt, table
-
pieces Oil, plant, sunflower
Steps
-
Wash the parsnips, peel them, and slice them thinly using a potato peeler (you can also slice them with a knife).
-
Heat the oil well in a small pot. Add a handful of parsnip slices to the hot oil. Fry them for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring them several times during frying to prevent them from sticking. Remove the fried slices with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil. Repeat the process until all slices are fried.
-
Transfer the parsnip chips to a large bowl, salt them, and mix well.

Advice
The chips can also be seasoned with hot paprika, rosemary… Fry in a large amount of fat. The food must float in it. For frying, use fats that do not contain water, such as coconut oil or good quality oil. The frying fat is hot enough when small bubbles form around a wooden spoon handle.
