Ingredients
-
500 g Pasta, noodles, fresh
-
150 g Broccoli, fresh
-
2 spoons Salt, table
-
0.5 cups Cheese, Parmesan, grated
Steps
-
Place a large pot with 5 liters of water on the stove. Just before the water boils, salt it and stir to dissolve the salt. Add the wide pasta to the boiling water. Cover the pot with a lid and wait for the water to boil again. Once it boils, uncover the pot. Stir the pasta several times during cooking to prevent it from sticking to the bottom. Cook the pasta exactly as long as indicated on the package. Drain the cooked pasta well.
-
Wash the broccoli and cut off the florets, which you can save for another recipe. Slice the broccoli stems into rounds. Place another pot with about half a liter of salted water on the stove and wait for the water to boil. Add the stem rounds and cook them for 5 to 10 minutes. Drain the cooked stems.
-
Arrange the pasta on plates, sprinkle the stem rounds over them, and then enhance the flavor with grated Parmesan. Decorate the dish with a fresh basil leaf if desired and serve.

Advice
If the pasta seems too plain, chop some basil, mix it with a little olive oil, and stir it into the pasta. You can also use broccoli florets if the stems seem too plain. You can also spice up the pasta with a sauce – we recommend a creamy sauce.
