Pasta with Meat (Makaronflajš)

Ingredients

3 spoons Oil, plant, sunflower

1 piece Onion, raw

500 g Meat, pork, shoulder

2 pod Garlic, fresh

2 spoons Tomato, concentrate

400 g Tomato, pieces - can

0.5 teaspoons Spices, mayonnaise, dried

1 piece Spices, bay (leaves)

2 dl Water

pieces Salt, table

400 g Pasta, Macaroni

pieces Cheese, Parmesan, hard
Steps

Cut the meat into bite-sized pieces and season with salt. Peel the onion and garlic, then finely chop them separately.

Heat oil or lard in a pot, then sauté the onion in it. Once it starts to color, add the meat and sauté while stirring.

Add the garlic and stir, then add all the remaining ingredients, including tomato paste, peeled tomatoes, marjoram, bay leaf, and water. Stir, then cover and simmer on low heat for at least half an hour to tenderize the meat.

Towards the end of cooking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta in it. Cook until almost done or still firm to the bite. Drain the pasta and mix it with the sauce.

Cook for another minute, then serve, optionally with Parmesan and chopped parsley.
