Ingredients
-
500 g Tomato, red
-
2 pod Garlic, fresh
-
3 spoons Oil, olive
-
1 handful Basil, fresh
-
pieces Salt, table
-
300 g Pasta, Macaroni
-
2 piece Cheese, mozzarella
Steps
-
Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half, peel the garlic and finely chop it.
-
Bring water to a boil in a large pot, salt it, and cook the pasta until al dente.
-
Pour oil into a large pan and sauté the garlic over medium heat. When it becomes aromatic, add the cherry tomatoes. Cook for 5 minutes until they release their juice, season with salt, pepper, and add half of the basil leaves.
-
Quickly blend one-third of the tomatoes. If the tomato skins bother you, you can blend all the tomatoes, but this way the dish will be more colorful and have varied textures.
-
Return the sauce to the pan and add a bit of the pasta cooking water. Stir and season to taste.
-
Add the al dente pasta to the sauce, add the remaining basil, and mix well.
-
Divide into two plates and make a small well in the center. Place the burrata in the wells and serve. Start by cutting or opening the burrata and mixing it with the pasta.
