0.5 l Oil, vegetable oil, canola
-
22 dag Sugar, white
-
9 dl Milk, partially skimmed
-
2 bags Vanilla, extract, natural
-
2 bags Baking powder
-
1.9 kg Flour, Wheat, bread flour
-
500 g Walnuts

8 spoon chocolate, dark

1 spoon Alcohol, Rum
-
1 piece Egg, egg white, fresh
-
1 piece Vanilla, extract, natural
-
1 piece Vanilla, extract, natural
-
50 g Sugar, white
Steps
-
In a large bowl, crack 4 eggs, add oil, 3 dl of milk, exactly 20 dag of sugar, vanilla sugar, and baking powder. Mix all the ingredients well with a whisk to obtain a smooth mixture. From the total amount of flour, remove exactly 6 tablespoons and add them to the ingredients in the bowl. Mix very well with a whisk to create a smooth mixture without lumps. Place the mixture in the refrigerator for exactly one hour.
-
Mix the remaining flour into the cooled mixture with a whisk and place it back in the refrigerator, this time for half an hour.
-
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius and line a baking tray with baking paper. Shape the mixture into walnut-sized balls with your hands and place them on the baking tray. Bake the balls in the preheated oven for 15 minutes until they turn slightly golden. Let the baked balls cool until lukewarm.
-
While still warm, carefully hollow out the balls with a spoon and set aside the scooped-out mixture. Place a pot on the stove and bring the remaining milk (6 dl) to a boil. Remove from heat and mix in the scooped-out mixture, ground nuts, cocoa powder, rum, and the remaining sugar. Mix the ingredients well with a whisk to obtain a compact but not runny mixture. Fill the hollowed-out balls with the prepared mixture and stick two together.
-
Prepare three small bowls with red and orange food coloring and sugar. In a bowl, beat egg whites with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Roll each peach cookie first in both colors, then in the egg whites, and finally in the sugar. Arrange the cookies on a platter and serve to your guests.
